Skin Cancer Surgical Audit
Sonic Healthcare has created an independent, Australia-wide Skin Cancer Surgical Audit to encourage ongoing refinement diagnosis, detection and collection of skin lesions.
With more than 4,000 participants, the audit is designed to improve the quality of patient care and outcomes, and general practitioners are provided with statistically relevant feedback about their own clinical practice and peer-comparisons.

RACGP Accredited CPD Activity
25 hours allocated to eligible participants who complete the audit (i.e. completing two consecutive six-month intervals, reviewing reports and submitting an evaluation questionnaire at the end of the the 12-month reporting period).
ACRRM PDP Accredited Activity
18 hours allocated to eligible participants who complete the audit (i.e. completing two consecutive six-month intervals, reviewing reports and submitting an evaluation questionnaire at the end of the the 12-month reporting period).

2. Data collection & specialised surgical audit request forms
Record clinical data for each case using the surgical audit request forms (compatible with all commonly used practice management software in A4 format).
3. Receive your report & statistically relevant feedback
Twice-yearly, a clinical audit interval report is generated, providing a comparative review of your own practice against those of your peers and the wider GP cohort.
4. Submit your evaluation
Download and view your reports following the completion of two consecutive intervals.
An evaluation must be submitted at the end of the 12-month reporting period.
